Hybrid (Heat Pump) Water Heater Installation in the Wenatchee Valley

Hybrid, or heat pump, water heaters pull heat from the surrounding air to heat your water, which can use far less electricity than a standard electric tank. Water Heater Express installs, replaces, repairs, and maintains hybrid water heaters across Wenatchee, Chelan, Manson, Entiat, Cashmere, Leavenworth, Monitor, East Wenatchee, Orondo, Pateros, and Brewster.

Is a Heat Pump Water Heater Right for Your Home?

Heat pump models work best in spaces with enough air circulation and room around the unit, such as a garage or a larger utility area. They also need a condensate drain. During your inspection, we will check your space, your electrical service, and your hot-water use, and give you an honest answer about whether a hybrid model is a good fit — or whether a standard electric, gas, or tankless unit makes more sense.

Chelan PUD offers a $1,300 rebate for first-time conversions to a qualifying heat pump water heater. If you are replacing an existing water heater for the first time with a qualifying heat pump model, ask us during your inspection and we will walk you through the next steps.
